Reserved Events at the Planetarium
  • Prepackaged Show Rate (field trips, etc.): $50.00 per Hour

  • Custom Shows and Corporate Events: $100.00 per Hour

  • Additional Staff (large events, if needed): Add $25.00 per hour

  • Scouting Programs: Please contact us.

  • WSU Departments, Clubs & Organizations: Please contact us.

Public Night Admission
  • Adults & Seniors: $2.00 per Show

  • Students (K-University): $1.00 per Show

  • Children Under 5: No Charge

  • Public Night Reserved Seating: Regular Admission Rate


Why do we charge for our services?

Well, there are a number of reasons:
  • Our state-of-the-art fulldome digital projector, surround sound, and computer systems require periodic maintenance and upgrades.

  • The majority of our planetarium shows are original productions, made right here at WSU. We hire and pay a number of full-time and part-time animators, sound engineers, voice talent, and show producers that make our original productions possible.

  • A number of our shows are licensed from other planetaria - and these don't come cheap!

  • We also need to pay our show presenters and the people who work behind the scenes!
