Hi,
I am a recent graduate (and now grad student) at Weber State University, specializing in Science Education and Public Outreach.
I think you will agree that science has a problem: the public hold a number of serious misconceptions about what science is and how science works. These misconceptions have a real effect on education, the environment, politics, and many other areas. I am attempting to address this with my undergraduate capstone project, The Nature of Science. The goal of the program is to communicate "what science is, how scientists work, and how you can get involved."
We are now in the early stages of producing supplementary material, including a possible S.T.E.M. series. You can help us by spreading the word to your friends and colleagues.
