BizSmart - Full Entrepreneurship Course
A nine week course on entrepreneurship, three sessions are held with your local SBDC counselor and six weeks are on-line interactive tutorials. Communicate on-line with your class instructor, guest speakers, your local coach and other class participants from across the State. Topics include organization, market research, marketing strategy, accounting essentials, financing and management. Computer and Internet access required.
Class fee of $249. Ask about possible scholarships and the availability of Veteran's Administration Educational Benefits.

FastTrac NewVenture is a ten-session hands-on program designed to help entrepreneurs test the feasibility of a new business idea and develop a complete business plan. The FastTrac curriculum guides aspiring entrepreneurs through a structured, focused process. Participants apply a disciplined, proven approach to business planning and learn sound strategies for business growth from dedicated business counselors and successful business owners.
Participants will:
• Develop their personal vision of entrepreneurship
• Identify market needs and areas of opportunity
• Set financial goals and evaluate financial feasibility of the business concept
• Plan the details of products/services to be offered
• Research and analyze the market (including the industry, competitors, and ideal customers)
• Develop a sound marketing strategy to create and communicate a successful brand
• Identify sound financial strategies to fund company growth and measure profitability
• Learn to prepare and interpret financial statements
• Study proven strategies and techniques to successfully expand your business
In this program, you’ll learn from knowledgeable facilitators and guest speakers with entrepreneurial experience. You will receive one-on-one consultation from business counselors and build a supportive network of other aspiring entrepreneurs. You will spend some class time each week building new knowledge and skills, and some time actively developing your business concept and strategy.
