Smart Series  These short two-hour workshops provide useful information for individuals looking to start a business and those who are looking to improve and expand their current management practices for existing businesses.  Classes are offered on a frequent basis or special classes can be arranged for guaranteed groups of twelve or more.

BizSmart - Full Entrepreneurship Course

A ten week course on entrepreneurship accessible 24/7 from your computer. Communicate on-line with your class instructor, guest speakers, your local coach and other class participants from across the State. Topics include organization, market research, marketing strategy, accounting essentials, financing, management and more. Special Offerings

7 Habits for Small Business Managers - This FranklinCovey workshop is an intensive hands-on learning experience that focuses on the fundamentals of great leadership. It improves people and they improve the success of the business - dramatically. The workshop is taught as a multi-session, facilitator-led workshop. The workshop follows a reinforced learning process that includes a rich comprehensive participant guidebook, a Management Essentials book with insights on the role of the manager, and an audio CD with Stephen R. Covey explaining how the 7 Habits apply to managers. Typically, 7 Habits for Managers training costs $795. Special pricing of $395 is available only through the SBDC for those in a private sector company of fewer than 300 employees.

Quickbooks - An overview of Quickbooks Accounting system, the instructor will demonstrate lists, transaction entry and reports. This is an excellent way to find out what Quickbooks can do for your buisness. 2 hours - $10.

Internet Business - This five session course will help you establish a basic website and teach you how to utilize features to have your website found and be effective for your Internet business. Students are mentored as they progress through various elements including use of apps, SEO, social media and more. Class meets once per month for five months - $85 for the entire course.
