Purpose of UBCEA:

1. to give members an organization in which to carry on a continuous study of problems relating to business education and a forum for presentation of new thinking and ideas.
    
2. to improve the professional, social, and civic status of its members through interrelationships with youth organizations, civic clubs, and related organizations which bring favorable recognition to UBCEA and its individual members.
    
3. to build solidarity among junior high, high school, post-secondary and private school members
    
4. to build a strong alliance among the business education areas (i.e., Business and Office Education, Accounting, Business Teacher Education, Economic Education, and Information Process)
    
5. to provide a voice for business educators in cross circular areas, vocational legislation, and general upgrading of business education through inter- and intra-state activity.
    
6. to stimulate professional enthusiasm, high levels of ethical conduct, and optimal classroom experience.
