Dream With Us
Graduates of the Telitha E. Lindquist College of Arts & Humanities leave Weber State University with much more than a degree; they leave with skills that drive discovery and achievement.
Whether lawyers, musicians, doctors, writers or CEOs, scholars whose academic foundation was enhanced by exposure to the arts and humanities will be the flexible problem solvers and creative thinkers who impact our global economy. They will be the inspirational leaders who build vital communities. They will be the thoughtful writers, effective speakers and innovative artists who motivate us to feel and to act.
For 125 years, Weber State University has embraced the dreams of its students, faculty, administrators and community — however big; however bold. As dean, I admit my dreams for the Lindquist College of Arts & Humanities are audacious! While we already serve campus and community as a hub of cultural education and enlightenment, we dream of the day our influence spreads internationally. We are especially interested in bringing our humanities programs — creative writing, literature, languages, and communication — into the spotlight.
With your help, we will get there. Dream 125 is about combining our expertise and enthusiasm with your foresight and generosity. In joining forces, we can continue to meet the cultural needs of Northern Utah and ensure that future generations of students become socially responsible citizens and creative participants in their communities.
Sincerely,
Madonne Miner, Dean
