When other children in Jessica Brooke’s preschool class wore tiaras or super-hero capes on dress-up day, Jessica would come in scrubs. From a very early age, she had one big dream: to be a doctor.

Growing up in Arizona, Jessica wowed math tutors early, skipped eighth grade and enrolled in community college at 12. Two years later, her family began exploring universities. They found just what they were looking for at WSU: a university with a supportive environment and a high medical school placement rate for pre-med students.

“Weber State offers so many opportunities — all of the extras you need to get where you want to go. Advisors put so much time into each of their students. They really care. I feel like WSU wants students to succeed, and they’ll do whatever they can to help you meet your goals.”
